Newborn Photo Session Ideas ~ Gainesville Georgia Photographer

I found this wonderful visual of backdrops and infants on www.pinterest.com. Pinterest is a wonderful place to collect new ideas for photos shoots. It really doesn't take much to create a dramatic photo. A cute hat, a bucket or even just a sleeping baby. If you have an idea for your session please feel free to share so we can plan for it. I am open to try new ideas.

You should have your infant session within the first fourteen days of life. My last session was at 4 weeks and he could not keep his head down. Sooner the better! They can be quite sleepy on a full belly. They are very moldable and flexible within the first two weeks! When you schedule a session I always encourage my parents to bring there own props. Jewelry, favorite blanket, stuffed animal, pretty flower headbands, funny knitted hats…anything that will add your personal touch! I always stock a full selection of headbands, hats, and backdrops. I recommend infant sessions to be at least two hours. You can plan for feedings, posing, pooping, and swaddling. Be sure you bring plenty of supplies for your new infant... such as: diapers, wipes, pacifiers, change of clothing, and formula! Please limit distractions by not bring friends and family members that are not being photographed..

Please don't miss out on this special time of your child's life.
The first weeks go by so fast and you will wish you had photographs to remember how tiny and sweet they were... :)
